Soma’s Secret Battle With PCOS Ended in Motherhood : Gynoveda Delivered

Before getting married in 2020, Soma started experiencing irregular periods and weight gain. Concerned, she visited a gynecologist and was diagnosed with PCOS after a USG scan. As a medical student, Soma was prescribed 21-day pills by her doctors, which only provided temporary relief without addressing the root cause. After six months of hormonal treatment, she stopped as her periods became lighter and the color changed. She kept this to herself, sharing only with her to be husband, Sandip Gurung, a banker she had met on a train in 2016.
